William Holmes

Mr. Will JM Holmes
 is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Yorkshire, UK, with over 15 years of experience. He graduated from Glasgow University in 2006 and completed general surgical training in Glasgow and Liverpool, followed by a junior fellowship at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town. He completed his plastic surgery training in Yorkshire. 

Mr. Holmes has advanced training through fellowships in skin oncology (Norfolk and Norwich), microsurgical breast reconstruction (Bristol and Chelmsford), and aesthetic surgery (BAPRAS/BAAPS fellowship in Hull).
 

At Pinderfields Hospital, Mr. Holmes specializes in breast reconstruction, skin cancer treatment, and scar revision. As part of the Mid Yorkshire Breast Reconstruction Service and Breast MDT, he performs procedures including free tissue transfer (DIEP, TUG) and implant-based reconstructions. 

A member of BAPRAS, BAAPS, and ABS, he has over 30 publications and nine awards, with research focused on breast reconstruction and salvage procedures. He has presented at over 30 national and international conferences.
 

In private practice at Spire Methley Hospital and the Coppergate Clinic, Mr. Holmes offers cosmetic procedures.
 

Outside the operating theatre, Mr. Holmes is a keen runner, having participated in events like the Great North Run to support charitable causes. He resides with his wife and children, with whom he shares his passion for music, encouraging them to appreciate disco and learn the violin.
