Mr. Singh received his training in reputed Units in UK. After a formal training program in General surgery, Paediatric Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery he achieved the distinction of becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 1994 in General surgery.
He began his career in Plastic surgery in one of the reputed Plastic surgery centre in Belfast. Subsequently, worked as a plastic surgeon trainee in hospitals throughout Northern Ireland, Scotland and England as part of a formal and intensive training program. Following completion of training and successfully passing the coveted FRCS (Plast) exam, he was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in Plastic Surgery in September 2006. He undertook various fellowships in Plastic & Cosmetic to enhance and augment his skills, and complete his training as a Reconstructive and Cosmetic plastic surgeon He also received the Diploma in Hand Surgery (FESSH) from the European Board of Plastic Surgeon in in Switzerland. He was awarded a diploma in Finance management from the university of Leicester in 2009. He is received a comprehensive training in lasers for management of lesions of the skin. He has remained an Expert -Witness for medicolegal issues in Plastic surgery for the past 12 years. He resides on various panels as an executive member including the Intercollegiate board of examiners for Plastic surgery, Board of examiners for the medical students at the Medical school, University of Birmingham, Selection committee for SpRs in plastic surgery and on the GMC panel for assessing training programmes in West Midlands .
He was appointed as a Consultant Plastic surgeon in 2006 and specialises in breast surgery, including reconstructive breast surgery, Skin cancer, Trauma, Hand and cosmetic surgery.
Mr. Singh has been on television programmes for his expertise in soft tissue reconstructions and microvascular surgery.
