Deputy President

Ruth Waters is a Consultant at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Trust working in the plastic surgery department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She graduated from Southampton University Medical School and trained in plastic surgery in Norwich and the West Midlands. She was appointed to her consultant post in 1996 and has specialised in all aspects of breast reconstruction and microsurgical reconstruction of the lower limb. She has a particular interest in the surgical management of lymphedema.
