The BAPRAS Undergraduate Students Day is a one day event for those considering a career in plastic surgery.
During this event, students will get the opportunity to:
• Hear about different plastics specialisms from consultants
• Learn practical surgery skills from specialist registrars
• Receive careers advice on how to get into plastic surgery
• Consider elective advice, research ideas and charity work
• Receive BAPRAS Certificate of Attendance, for your portfolio
• A chance to win prizes for best poster and best surgical skills
All surgical skills sessions are open to anyone who registers on the course.
They run parallel to the main lectures, you need only attend once as it the same session repeated throughout the day. Surgical skill sessions will give you a chance to practise a range of surgical techniques in small groups. Each session is the same.
Please decide what surgical skills session you would like to attend and let us know at registration when you collect your badge. There is a limit to each group. Please be aware it is first come, first served. If a skills session is full you will have to pick another.
