In 1986 Antony Wallace edited
The History of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons: The First Forty Years
to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the founding of BAPS.
There have been many changes in the delivery of healthcare since that time, which have affected the basic structure, delivery of service and training not just in surgery but throughout all branches of medicine.
As the 70th anniversary of the Association drew closer, Council felt that it would be appropriate to chronicle our history from 1986 to 2016 for future reference and so our Honorary Archivist, Roger Green took on the challenge of bringing together a record of the huge changes that took place in this period.
'BAPS to BAPRAS' has been produced in hard copy and is available from the Secretariat on request, but an electronic copy is available
