Scar Free Foundation Student Elective Awards

The Scar Free Foundation is offering Student Elective Awards worth £1,200 each, for
research in the area of “disfigurement and visible loss of function”.
The awards provide students with the opportunity to broaden their perception and
experience of research, during a 6-8 week supervised period, in one of four disciplines:
• Plastic and reconstructive surgery
• Hand surgery
• Craniofacial care and treatment
• Burn medicine and care
A number of awards are available for medical, nursing, psychology, paramedic and
speech & language therapy students.
