Joint Surgical Colleges Fellowship Examinations launched

The Surgical Royal Colleges of Edinburgh, England, Glasgow and Ireland have announced the introduction of a new suite of Fellowship examinations aimed at the international surgical community. Successful candidates are eligible to apply for election to the Fellowship of the Royal College of their choice and to list 'FRCS' after their name.
College Fellows from the UK and Ireland have joined together to deliver a quality assured fellowship examination which aims to promote safe standards and surgical excellence worldwide.
The first Joint Surgical Colleges Fellowship Examination in plastic surgery is planned for April 2017. The syllabus and application system will go live in April 2016.
