COVID-19 Update

The current COVID-19 outbreak presents new and significant challenges for all, particularly those working in the healthcare sector. We recognise the role of the Secretariat in supporting BAPRAS members will be crucial in the coming months and have been making arrangements to ensure we continue to serve our members and colleagues during this unpredictable time.

Secretariat staff will be working from home over the coming weeks as advised by guidance issued by Public Health England and in the Department of Health and Social Care’s Coronavirus action plan. If you urgently need to speak with a member of staff please email and the relevant person will get back to you within 24 hours regarding your query.

Unfortunately, the AEC 4.5 course in April has been cancelled as a result of these ongoing sanctions. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. The event will be deferred until April 2021, we are hoping you will be able to attend the course in April next year. National Selection face to face interviews have also been cancelled.
