BAPRAS Winter Scientific Meeting News- Pop-up Hackathon

26th October 2016

Calling all Plastic Surgery innovators, problem solvers and leaders

Did you miss the weekend Hack in June, and now intrigued what all the buzz was about?  Want to help solve some of the universal hurdles all NHS Plastics units face?

The BAPRAS Innovation Special Interest Group are running a pop-up Hackathon as part of the winter scientific meeting

Work in teams from medical students to professors, with colleagues from across the country to compete against others to hack our surgical challenge. There will be a prize for the best solutions- No hack experience necessary, just huge enthusiasm

There will be drinks and nibbles during this sponsored session where you will be given the chance to experience how a Hackathon can improve Plastic Surgery.

If you’re intrigued about what a Hackathon is, and want to take part in an event then please register by emailing innovation@bapras.org.uk or tweeting #PopUpHackathon to @InnovationSIG. Numbers are limited and so early registration is recommended.

The hackathon will be taking place from 16:00-19:00 on Wednesday 23 November. For more information and to register for the scientific meeting, click here
