BAPRAS' Barbara Jemec interviewed on BBC R4 Woman's Hour

Barbara Jemec, Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital and BAPRAS member was interviewed by BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour today about the benefits of immediate breast reconstruction and why some women and surgeons prefer to delay treatment. Barbara highlighted the issue of the shortage of plastic surgeons for women wanting to undergo immediate breast reconstruction and the need to discuss all the options available to the patient so they can make an informed choice about their healthcare.
