UK National Flap Registry

The flap registry's aim is to collect information about all major free and pedicled flap operations carried out in the UK and through that, to assess the quality of care we provide for patients. Participation in audit is part of professional practice and integral to your appraisal and revalidation as required by the GMC. By participating in this audit, you will be able to use the data for your appraisal and revalidation portfolio. This audit will allow appropriate comparison of clinical performance with national and international standards, and provide useful data on changing trends.

The cross-speciality UK National Flap Registry is supported by BAPRAS, the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists, British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Association of Breast Surgery and the British Society of Surgery of the Hand.

The link below will take you to the UKNFR Dendrite website where you can view the demonstration videos in the Useful Links section, which will confirm how easy and intuitive it is to enter data.
