Contribute to the direction and development of our speciality and take part in an ongoing exchange of information, knowledge and expertise.

There are many different categories and levels of BAPRAS membership to suit varying needs, which are detailed in this section.
 
Members will also benefit from the following:
•  Free subscription to the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (in certain categories)
•  Reduced rates of registration for BAPRAS meetings and courses
•  Certain membership levels are eligible for election to BAPRAS Council
•  Full members are able to vote at General meetings.

New Member Applications


To apply to be a member of BAPRAS, click the category links on the left to start your application

Once your application is received, it will be discussed first at a meeting of the Professional Standards Committee and then agreed at a meeting of Council. Applications for full and interspecialty membership, once agreed by Council are then put to the members at a general meeting for final sign-off.

Timeline



Next deadline for receipt of completed application- Wednesday 23 August 2017



Applications for Trainee, Junior, Foundation & Student, Affiliate, Associate and Overseas Membership completed prior to 10 May

You will hear whether your application has been accepted by Monday 26 June

Applications for Trainee, Junior, Foundation & Student, Affiliate, Associate and Overseas Membership completed prior to 23 August
You will hear whether your application has been accepted by Monday 2 October

Applications for Full and Interspecialty Member applications completed prior to 27 January
If your application is accepted by Council, your application will be put to members at the Extraordinary General Meeting in June. You will hear whether your application has been accepted by Thursday 30 June 2017

Applications for Full and Interspecialty Member applications completed after 27 January but prior to 10 May
If your application is accepted at the June meeting of Council, it will be put to members at the Annual General Meeting in November. We will contact you again after the Council meeting in June to let you know if your application is being put to the AGM
