Principles and Skills of Plastic Surgery
19 January 2019
Clinical Skills Lab, John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford
“Principles and Skills in Plastic Surgery” is a national training day providing medical students and foundation doctors with a chance to learn and hone the skills needed for all surgical specialities, with a focus on Plastic surgery. The day will involve talks by leading consultants on the underlying principles of plastic surgery, and surgeon-led practice sessions using animal tissues on suturing, knot tying, skin lesion excision, and using local flaps.
This is the third time a Plastic Surgery Skills day has been run by OxPRAS for Medical Students and Foundation doctors and previously it has received very positive feedback.
