TuesdayWe are pleased to announce that the outline programme is now available online. The four day conference will kick off with a specific conference for Trainees, hosted by PLASTA, as well as our ever-popular undergraduate day for any medical students considering a career in plastic surgery.
WednesdayThe first day of the main scientific conference will comprise of update sessions on wound healing, major trauma and skin cancer, as well as a side course, for a limited number of registrants, on counselling patients
ThursdayOn day 2, the focus is on professional values- how to keep out of trouble, maintain a work-life balance, and what to do when things go wrong. We are also pleased to include streams on research (hosted by the RSTN) and periorbital surgery (organised by BAAPS). In addition, a small number of delegates will have the opportunity to undertake cadaveric training on facial flaps at the University of Manchester (additional fees apply)
FridayThe final day of the conference gives an opportunity to drill down into topic-specific masterclasses, on microsurgery, head and neck and facial palsy, aging skin (hosted by the University of Manchester) and innovation. Nurse colleagues are also provided for with the return of our popular nurses meeting.
As well as all of this, there will be opportunities for socialising and networking with colleagues.
