Contribute to the direction and development of our speciality and take part in an ongoing exchange of information, knowledge and expertise.

There are many different categories and levels of BAPRAS membership to suit varying needs, which are detailed in this section.
 
Members will also benefit from the following:
•  Free subscription to the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (in certain categories)
•  Reduced rates of registration for BAPRAS meetings and courses
•  Certain membership levels are eligible for election to BAPRAS Council
•  Full members are able to vote at General meetings.

New Member Applications


To apply to be a member of BAPRAS, click the category links on the left to start your application

Once your application is received, it will be discussed first at a meeting of the Professional Standards Committee and then agreed at a meeting of Council. Applications for full and interspecialty membership, once agreed by Council are then put to the members at a general meeting for final sign-off.

Applying for full or interspecialty membership?

The next deadline for completed applications is 25th January 2018.

If you completed your application prior to 23 August, you will hear whether your application has been accepted by Friday 15 December.

Applications for Full and Interspecialty membership are first vetted by our Council, and if successful at this stage are voted upon by all Full Members of the Association at a General Meeting. The next General Meeting takes place in the week commencing 27 November. 

Applying for membership in any other category?

The next deadline for completed applications is 14th November.

If you completed your application prior to 23 August, you will hear whether your application has been accepted by Monday 2 October.
