Plastic Surgery Registrars complete Military Training

8th December 2020

Three times a year potential ‘professionally qualified officers’ (PQO’s) undertake their training at the royal military academy Sandhurst to become officers in the British army. This cohort of made up of vets, lawyers, doctors, pharmacists and nurses etc.

Of the 21 officers who passed off the square last month, 9 were doctors, 3 of which were plastic surgery registrars. This is a fantastic turnout from our specialty and we offer our congratulations to Capt. Ewan Campbell of the Royal London Hospital, Capt. Eva O'Grady of Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Captain Alex Smith of St Andrew's Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery.
