Undergraduate plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery (UPRAS) is a one-day national conference for medical students and junior doctors interested in a career in plastic surgery. This hybrid conference will teach the core aspects of plastic surgery, provide career advice and host a practical skills workshop to improve surgical skills in plastic surgery techniques.

Entering its 14th successful year, UPRAS 2021/22 will be held as a hybrid event, allowing undergraduates from across the country and around the world to attend either in-person at the RSM in London or virtually via the live stream.

This conference will introduce and teach students and junior doctors the key components of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (PRAS). Eminent surgeons from around the UK will cover various subspecialties in PRAS through high-quality interactive lectures during the morning session.

In the afternoon session, you will have the opportunity to join an interactive practical session* on suturing, local flaps and tendon repair.

During this hybrid event you will:

  • Learn about the core aspects of plastic surgery
  • Be able to carry out plastic surgical skills in suturing, local flaps, and tendon repair
  • Value the commitment required for a successful career in plastic surgery, and understand the steps needed to get there

Early bird pricing for the in-person version is available until 08 October 2021.
