History of BAPS book

A book charting the history of the first forty years of the British Association of Plastic Surgeons was published in 1987, edited by the then Association Archvist, Antony Wallace.

Covering everything from the birth of the specialty in the First World War to the setting up of BAPS and beyond, the book was intended to give a 'warts and all' picture of plastic and reconstructive surgery and the hope that it would allow future generations of plastic surgeons to understand why the specialty looks as it does today
