Wrist and Hand Arthroplasty
18 June 2009 Wrist surgery is a fascinating, rapidly evolving and complex area of hand surgery. Wrist fractures, pain and instability are common but often poorly treated conditions which lead to significant morbidity and disability. This course aims to provide core knowledge for those taking higher exams, as well as hands-on experience for surgeons involved in the management of acute wrist trauma and post traumatic pain.

Format
Predominantly a practical cadaveric workshop with approaches, arthroscopic training and practical lectures. Lectures on the first day of this course will be brief with the emphasis on the practical sessions whilst providing a forum for discussion for the surgeons involved.
