Coimbatore Hand and Microsurgical Fellowship in memory of Bruce Bailey.

The fellowship is for a period of two months, probably best taken at the end of the year in November and December. The Fellowship is designed for surgeons in the middle or late part of their training and is undertaken in a private hospital with orthopaedic, plastic surgical and hand team, with a large volume of work related to trauma. The unit also does a lot of work on soft tissue cover for lower limb injuries.

Included in the fellowship is a one-week laboratory microsurgery course at the hospital and a trip to the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand meeting or to attend the Annual Meeting of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. The salary for the duration of the Fellowship is £750.00 to include food and accommodation.
