Benign skin lesions
Patients with benign skin conditions are referred in large numbers to plastic surgeons - often for confirmation of diagnosis if surgery is indicated. These patients are usually well suited to treatment in day surgery units, or see-and-treat clinics. Examples are: sebaceous cysts, seborrhoeic warts, and benign pigmented lesion (naevi - birth marks). Areas:
