Hand and Upper Limb > Congenital Abnormalities
Congenital Limb Conditions.
This aspect of hand surgery is mainly undertaken by plastic surgeons but some orthopaedic surgeons are involved. Because of their rarity, children with congenital hand anomalies are best treated by those with special expertise born out of treating significant numbers of cases. It is also important that the surgeons are backed up by an experienced team of hand therapists. |
